Star Atlas
An ambitious space exploration and strategy game built on Solana. Promises a massive multiplayer universe with fleet management, territory control, and a player-driven economy. Currently in early development with a simplified browser version available.
What does "crypto" actually mean in this game?
Ships, crew, and resources are all tokens or NFTs on Solana. Two tokens (ATLAS for in-game currency, POLIS for governance) power the economy. The vision is enormous, but the delivered product is still early. Ship NFTs are required to participate meaningfully.
Pros
- Stunning visual design and ambitious scope
- Built on Solana for fast, cheap transactions
- Active development with regular updates
- Deep strategy gameplay in the browser version
Cons
- Full game is years away from completion
- Early ship purchases carry significant risk
- Promises are far ahead of delivered features
- Complex tokenomics can confuse newcomers
- Requires Solana wallet setup
Our Beginner Recommendation
This is a high-risk, high-ambition project. The vision is exciting, but it is far from fully realized. Do not invest money expecting the final product to match the trailers. If you are interested, start with the cheapest ships possible to test the waters.
